It turns out that this knowledge is useful for example when you want to install some program on your computer. To do this, press the “Start” button, and then we look for the keyword “This computer” using the search engine. The next step is to right-click “This Computer”, and from the list, select “Properties”. A settings window should open, and a list should appear in the upper right corner. From it, we select “Device Manager”.

This will check the list of available devices on our computer or laptop. In the pane, we look for the “Graphics Cards” tab, and when it slides out, a list of graphics cards that are available in Windows will appear. By double-clicking with the left mouse button on the name of a selected graphics card, a window will pop out with additional, necessary data (e.g. card name, drivers, details).

After clicking the magnifying glass on the taskbar, we can type “dxdiag” into the search engine. A program with an X icon should appear in the list. After running it, a window should pop up with information about the computer, including information about the graphics card. You can check the graphics card in the “Screen” tab.
