Grand Theft Auto V has been constantly developed by its creators since its premiere. There are also cheats implemented in the game, of which there are more than 30 in total. One of them is the helicopter cheat for GTA 5, the activation of which I present below.

Helicopter Cheat for GTA 5 on Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series

In GTA 5 for Xbox consoles, there are two ways to enter and activate cheats in the game. One is their pressing the buttons on the pad in the correct order. The second one is the neutral method, which is dialing the correct phone number in the game. It will work not only on Xbox consoles, but also PlayStation and PC.

The first method is to press the appropriate buttons on the Xbox pad. It is not difficult and only requires the player to perform it, they will be in the game without pausing. Press the following buttons in this order to activate the helicopter cheat for GTA 5:

B, B, LB, B, B, LB, LT, RB, Y, B, Y

After that the cheat will be automatically activated and a Buzzard helicopter will appear near the player. Entering the cheat again will summon another, identical helicopter.

The second way is an alternative to the first one. It consists in entering the phone number in the player’s phone. To do this, you need to slide out the keypad, go to the Contacts tab and pull up the number pad on the phone. You then need to enter this number to call the helicopter in the game:

1-999-289-9633

Finally, the number must be dialed/confirmed. After that, the cheat will be activated and a helicopter will appear near the player. It is also worth mentioning that pressing the asterisk will dial the last entered number, even those for activating cheats.

Cheats for Grand Theft Auto V can only be activated in single player mode and will not work in GTA Online.

It is worth mentioning that activating the helicopter cheat in GTA 5 will block the possibility of collecting achievements until the end of the gaming session. Deactivating the cheat will not make it possible to collect achievements again. To be able to collect them again, you need to restart the game. There are several other types of helicopters in the game itself, but it is not possible to summon them using game cheats.
