Grand Theft Auto V is a cult, almost immortal game that premiered in September 2013. Since then it has been constantly developed, with new content coming to the game and even being released for newer and newer consoles. There are codes in the game that allow you to get rid of the police from the game in the form of reducing the “Wanted” level. Police cheats for GTA 5 on PC
In the game itself, the developers have implemented two police-related codes in GTA 5:
- Decrease level of Wanted (chase/star)
- Increase Wanted level (chase/star)
They are directly related to the pursuit, or number of stars. Each time you enter the code, it increases or decreases the level by one. You can also lose the chase completely by entering the code to decrease the level of Wanted as many times as there are stars.
To enter the correct code on the PC, activate the code entry console with the tilde key (~ – upper left corner of the keyboard), and then enter the correct code:

Once the code is entered correctly, the correct message will appear on the screen.
Police cheats for GTA 5 on PS3, PS4 and PS5
The police codes can also be used on Sony consoles. Since there is no keyboard, the code is entered a little differently. In this version of the game you have to press the correct sequence of keys, one after the other, they will be in the game. These are the following codes:

| Reducing the level of Wanted | R1, R1, Circle, R2, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left |

Police cheats for GTA 5 on Xbox 360, Xbox One and Xbox Series
On Microsoft consoles, codes are also entered using the appropriate button combination, just like on PlayStation consoles. To activate any of the police codes for GTA 5, perform the following combination while playing the game:

When the correct sequence has been followed, the code will be activated and the correct message will be displayed.
Police cheats for GTA 5 using phone
Police cheats can also be activated with the phone in the game, regardless of the platform on which GTA 5 is running. To do this, pull out your phone, enter the “Contacts” tab, and then pull out the numeric keypad.
Then, enter one of the selected numbers below to activate the codes for police:

Finally, confirm it. Once the number is entered correctly, the code will be activated.
Additionally, pressing the asterisk will dial the last number dialed, which can be useful.
